We hold our meetings in the zendo (meditation) of the Hartford Street Zen Center, which is located in the basement. You can enter the zendo directly from the street by taking the stairs on the right side of the building. Please do not ring the front doorbell so as to not disturb the residents of the Center.

MUNI:

F Market streetcar and K, M, L, T. Off-board at Castro and Market Streets. Walk one block east on 17th or 18th Street to Hartford Street (parallel to Castro). Make a right on 17th - or a left from 18th - and walk to 57 Hartford.

Meetings every Sunday from 3 to 5 pm

3 to 3:30:  Silent meditation period

3:30 to 3:40:  Short silent break followed by first-name introductions and brief announcements. Introduction of speaker.

3:40 to 4:25:  Talk and discussion with guest speaker

4:25 to 4:30:  Chanting of Three Refuges and breakdown of zendo

4:30 to 5:  Tea and cookies upstairs

Thursdays, 7:30 to 9 pm
